Dear colleagues!
We invite you to study in the open distance course “Technologies for distance course development” (108 hours, 8 weeks).
Course aim: acquiring knowledge about creating distance courses and conducting distance training based on a modern e-learning methodology.
Course curriculum
The course is intended for university and school teachers, and corporate coaches, who would like to master distance education technologies and use them in their teaching activities.
At the first stage, you will get acquainted with the current state of education development in the world and one of the most effective methods of course design. When designing a course, you will gain skills to move from competencies through activities to the objectives of tasks.
Using Bloom’s taxonomy, you will design your course according to your goals: either to teach your students to perform tasks or dvelop their ability to analyze and create.
Defining the purpose of your course and your goal as a teacher is based on learning theories. You will gain skills to use behaviourist, cognitive, constructivist, connectivism theories in your course.
You will create a structured course text with the use of graphics and various cloud technology tools.
Test tasks can be of different complexity, determined by Bloom’s taxonomy, which can be combined into various tests for students’ self-control and control over mastering individual topics and the course as a whole. You will be able to do this.
Group work, communication and questioning as a method of constructing knowledge by students will play an important role in your course.
Finally, you will create a system for assessing your students, get acquainted with the distance course assessment system and gain practical skills in evaluating the distance courses of your colleagues.

The course is free.
The language of communication is Ukrainian.
Trainees who have successfully completed the program receive a certificate and have the opportunity to receive a certificate of advanced training in distance learning by Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University (KhNADU).
Weekly webinars will be held for the course participants. The links will be posted on the course website.
To participate in the distance course, you need to fill out the
form and register in the course (self-registration).
The registration in the course is open.
