“Automotive diagnostics” – DISTANCE COURSE

We invite: managers, leading specialists, workers of organizations that operate and maintain automobile vehicle fleet, as well as personnel of vehicle diagnostic stations.

Course aim: providing the necessary level of knowledge and skills to specialists with a higher education for their performing the functions of engineering and technical workers at organizations for diagnostics and maintenance of vehicles.

CURRICULUM

1 Introduction to technological processes of the vehicle life cycle.

2 Rules of technical operation of vehicles, requirements for the organization of and procedure for technical inspections during preventive maintenance and repair of vehicles.

3 Fundamental principles of the national road transport policy.

4 Standardization of fuel consumption with consideration for the operating conditions of the vehicle fleet (the author’s calculation method).

5 The network of service stations and warranty service system.

6 Ecological properties of fuels and lubricants.

7 Prospects for the development and improvement of motor transport.

8 Regulatory and technical requirements for the technical condition of automobile vehicles.

9 Road transport ecology.

10 Volume and frequency of technical works. Requirements of the current State Standard of Ukraine (DSTU) 3649:2010. Automotive diagnostics.

11 Assessment of the vehicle competitiveness and level of transport services.

12 Methods and means for determining parameters of the vehicle technical condition.

13 Equipment for and technologies of repair work on components and systems of motor vehicles.

14 Operation of equipment for technical diagnostics and maintenance of vehicles.

15 General structure of modern monitoring systems.

16 The system of state management and control of public and corporate transport.

17 Rules and programs for road safety training, medical examinations, special permits, etc.

18 Features of technical operation of vehicles that use alternative fuels.

19 Features of car operation under extreme climatic conditions and at low temperatures.

20 The role of technical operation in ensuring the environmental safety of automobile vehicles.

21 Features of the re-equipment of cars to run on gas fuel.

22. Individual consultations on the graduate qualification work on the selected topic.

23. Defence of the graduate qualification work and final tests (possibly at the place of work of the trainees).

24. Organizational meetings of trainees at the beginning and after completion of the program. Issuing the certificates and handing in the agreements, etc.

25. Individual work of trainees

Total: 108 hours.

Trainees who have successfully completed the course program receive an Advanced training certificate indicating for the customer company the level of competence of their specialist.
